My work is to be included in a new exhibition at Edwina Corlette Gallery in Brisbane.
The series Bucolica draws on enlightenment era ideals of nature, the romance of Mughal miniature paintings of gardens, my own memories of my Oma’s apple tree and the colours of nostalgia. I’ve been reading ‘Landscape and Memory’ by Simon Schama, and I was intrigued by the idea of humans shaping the landscape, not only physically, but through the perceptions that are shaped by our memories, cultures and ideals.

SMALL WORKS CHRISTMAS SHOW
Josh Pyke has received 2 nominations in this year’s ARIA awards for his beautiful album Chimneys Afire (cover art by me!).
He received nominations in the Best Male Artist and Adult Contemporary categories.
Congratulations to Josh on his amazing achievements and hopefully he’ll have a couple of new additions to the pool room on Thursday 26 November!
